In the last five years, through our collective organizing and bargaining, DTA has been able to...



  • Secure a 5%, 5%, 5% three year consecutive on-salary schedule compensation increase for 2021-22 through 2023-24

  • Increase compensation for on-site coaches

  • Ensure the election of three board members who recognize the powerful impact that our valuable teachers have on our district 

  • Support the successful passage of a parcel tax 

  • Begin restructuring the salary schedule 

  • Secure an 8% raise for 2024-25

  • Reduce one work day to be more aligned with our comparable districts

  • Agree to class size goals 

  • Ensure a PACT period for all full-time Special Education RSP and ASSIST teachers
